Nainital-A gift of Nature

Nainital is a well-admired hill tourist destination, It is located in the Indian state of Uttarakhand, discovered by P.Barron in 1841. The high court of the Uttarakhand is also situated there. Nainital comes under the range of Outer Himalaya. There are 7 lakes in Nainital these are- Naini Lake , Bhimtal, Khurpatal, Nauchikiya tall, Sattal , Malwatal, Lokhamtal and Harishtal.   

Its one of the main attraction is Naini Lake also called an eye-shaped lake. 
Naini lake is one of the 52 Shakti peeth of goodness SATI, The goddess Sati is worshipped by the devotees in Naini Mata mandir which is situated at the bank of the lake.

when you will park your car in the parking area then several local guides will gather around you, they will ask you to book their taxi for visiting the famous sites, In Nainital, some sites are in very high altitude so you can book their taxi but beware don't give more than Rs.1200 for four-person as they demand high amount.

Khurpa tall is famous for changing its colour frequently.

 Naina peak, Naina lake

 The main attraction of Nainital is Naini lake, its also known as an eye-shaped lake, it spread approximately an area of 2 miles. You can boat in this lake, their charges is minimal and the time of boating is around 30 min.


G.B.Pant High Altitude Zoo

This is the most admired place of Nainital, a wide number of animal can be seen here such as Panther, White Peacock, Tiger, different kind of Birds, Deer, Himalayan Bear.

Besides this, there are many more places like Lover's point, Suicide point, Hanuman Garhi, St. John wilderness church, Mall Road, Tiffin Top, Sherwood College etc. Hope you will enjoy the trip, two days are enough for this trip. The ideal time of visiting Nainital is between April to July.
